About Ken Dunn

14 years in investigative and tactical policing allowed me to hone deep organizational and leadership skills, and sparked an entrepreneurial fire inside of me. Throughout my policing career I also helped to start businesses. In 2001 I started KPLJ, and its rapid financial success, coupled with my start in direct selling, led to my exit from law enforcement. KPLJ was later sold in 2005, for 8 figures. Throughout the past 2 decade I have traveled to 70 countries, speaking about sales and teaching leadership. During this time, I published 3 books that have sold over copies (as of Jan 1, 2025 Between 2012 and 2018, I kissed my entrepreneurial fires on a book publishing company and digital marketing agency. We combine these two industries together and explored new marketing strategies for the publishing industry. in 2018, I decided to turn my 20 year passion for real estate investing into my final business. Now in its fifth year, Cottage Dream Vacations is focussed on building a network of boutique spa resorts across Canada and very specific international destinations through this company, we also operate a real estate training company with a goal of helping people in Canada to get into real estate investing.
