About Ken Ekdahl

I feel like I got very lucky when I found my way in to the automotive space. I enjoyed working hard, talking to people and having control of my own paycheque. My career progression from Graphic Designer and 3d Animator to Auto Sales, Internet Manager, Sales Manager and finally in to a vendor role seems to be an almost perfect progression for me and gives me a chance to use what I believe are my strongest skills. I love selling, but I also love designing and implementing Best Practices, Marketing, Process, etc. I believe to do well in sales you have to truly believe in your product and I think it comes across during presentations. People can tell if you’re faking it. In Auto Sales, it helps to be able to speak the language and really understand the intricacies of the business. I believe in staying involved and helping dealers through the transition phase by helping to set up automated campaigns, build templates, create process, and set goals. Setting goals, meeting them, and then setting new goals is something I practice but also preach to my customers. I believe we should always be looking to get better and if you think what you do is work, you might be in the wrong business.
