About Ken Harasen
I began my career with CN in 1991 as a brakeman/ yard helper. I was promoted to a conductor position in 1993. In 1994 I took the Yardmaster training course and worked as Yardmaster from 1994 to 1997. I found that position both challenging at times and rewarding. In 2008 I completed the training program for Locomotive Engineer. I’ve been a full time locomotive engineer from 2011 till the present day. Prior to joining the CN family, I was a truck driver, farmer and was employed at the Cargill grain company.
