Director of I.T at Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS) with over 25 years of experience spanning role as Microbiological Laboratory Manager and as Post-Doctoral Researcher at NUI Galway prior to diversifying into technology position following a Diploma in Applied Science Software Design and Development and a PhD in Machine Learning. Expertise covers the development of innovative solutions for clients through project management and the development of the CLS Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). This includes the establishment of a state of the art online real time reporting function as well as internal support programmes for the CLS team. Founded in 1994, CLS is the largest privately-owned contract laboratory in Ireland and provides sampling, analysis and fully trained micro and analytical analysts on contract to clients in Ireland and internationally to the food, environmental, medical device and pharmaceutical industries. The company is very proud to work in partnership with its clients, many of whom are leading global brands. CLS is FDA approved, GMP approved (HPRA), ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 17025 (108T). CLS currently employs 195 staff and operates throughout Ireland, UK, and Europe and in parts of America.
