Environmental Scientist with over 30 years of experience in the environmental field where I have routinely been required to manage and conduct aquatic and terrestrial assessments and to design, implement, and interpret studies associated with protection of our environment from various industrial activities, such as new and existing highways, railways, mines, power-line corridors, solar parks, waterpower projects, and aggregate operations. I completed a Master of Science (Fisheries Thesis) and Bachelor of Science (Fisheries Thesis) degree in Biology, and a Forestry Technician diploma. I have had extensive professional training in: Project Management, Electrofishing; Environmental Monitoring for Construction; Erosion and Sediment Control; Wetland Assessor; Stream and Lake Fish Habitat Assessor; and, Benthos Assessor. Previous to my employment as a private consultant, I was a provincial government employee for research and compliance groups of the Ontario MNR. For nearly 20 years now as a private consultant, I continue to successfully manage and complete environmental projects for various private and public-sector clients.
