About Ken McGee

My mission is to improve access to pelvic rehabilitation for everyone. To this end, I focus on direct client care, educating adult learners, and participating in health policy advocacy. Direct care: I see clients across the Western United States through the telehealth platform, Hinge Health, which allows me to work with rural clients who might not otherwise have access to pelvic health services. I also see clients in-person, in-home, and virtually through my private practice, B3 Physical Therapy, focusing on transgender and complex pelvic health rehabilitation. Education: I serve as an instructor for Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, educating the newest leaders in the field. Additionally, I support curriculum development and assist with course work on transgender health. Recently, I served as adjunct faculty for Tufts’ new physical therapy program in Seattle, supporting anatomy coursework. I lecture at a number of organizations from Bastyr University to the Center for Indigenous Midwifery. Advocacy: I led the effort to expand physical therapy practice in the Untied States to include pessary fitting. I also practice as a patient advocate as a birth doula and gender doula. I specialize in supporting queer lactation, having formerly been a Le Leche League Leader. In my personal life, I am the parent to two active kiddos and a volunteer in King County Search and Rescue Association. I enjoy trail running and weightlifting.
