I specialize in three core areas: materials testing, geomechanics, and engineering mathematics. My approach combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on, practical application, ensuring students are well-prepared for the industry's demands. Experience Faculty, Civil Engineering Technology NSCC Ivany Campus * Materials Testing: I instruct students on the principles and procedures of testing various construction materials, including concrete, asphalt, and steel. This involves laboratory work focused on mechanical properties such as compressive and tensile strength, and durability.* Geomechanics: I teach fundamental concepts of soil mechanics and foundation engineering. My courses cover soil classification, compaction, shear strength, and the design of shallow and deep foundations. Students gain practical experience through hands-on labs and field work.* Engineering Mathematics: I provide instruction in the mathematical principles essential for civil engineering, including calculus, linear algebra, and statistics.
