About Ken Meier

I am a person that's motivated by trying to change the world around me and make improvements everywhere for the positive. I firmly believe in growing wherever I am planted and improving in every way possible to best understand my impact on the organization. One of the most important lessons learned during my Air Force service is that we need teams and endeavors to make changes. I am comfortable navigating almost any situation or environment and am comfortable with ambiguity. As a program/project manager, I've implemented strategies at large and small scales, but that is only by including stakeholders and recognizing the importance of inclusion to a project's success. I can navigate professional, personal, and technical difficulties across matrixed and cross-functional organizations from the unit to combatant command levels. I like understanding the needs behind problems to make good decisions that satisfy the customer and the organization's objectives. I am a truthful learner and do not like to settle for not understanding a concept. I will complete a Master of Science in Information Technology this month and have Project Management certifications, including the PMP, lean six sigma black belt, and Scrum Master. I am also pursuing more advanced cybersecurity and cloud engineer certifications. I am looking for a career change into a full-time in-person or hybrid role in the Tampa area or a remote position in April 2023.
