Not often does a golden opportunity come knocking on our door in the shape of a redundancy and this has allowed me to see far outside the square I had boxed myself in. I have always loved being involved with a business who has a commitment to empowering those they have identified as having talent, abilities or potential but are unable to see it within themselves. I have been extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to have worked at the elite level of sport, namely The Australian Institute of Sport ( 1988 Gymnastic Olympian) part of the iconic Australian company QANTAS 'The Spirit of Australia' for 17 yrs and now the dependable and inovated AusPost. The combination of both a Sporting and Business life has allowed me to continually grow in all aspects of my life and make a positive difference to those I have had the pleasure to lead. Through a great many mentors and life experiences my most valuable asset, in my opinion, is my ability to stand in the shoes of another and think outside the square. My personal motto is 'Yesterday was a learning experience, Today is a doing day and Tomorrow is filled with opportunities'. As long as we have the appropriate business tools, fundamental support networks and crucial to all successful teams and individuals, self belief and motivation, anything we strive for is possible. I am highly driven to see others around be become successful and intern I strongly believe the business and myself also become successful. My newly highlighted focus on the reduction of stress and true work life balance has me beaming with energy. The daily smiles and gratitude I am gifted from my customers motivates me to drive a customer service reputation unparelled. I am loving the true delivery of 'Customer Service'.
