About Ken Raczynski

As a Security Operations Director, I lead initiatives to protect the physical security and safety of people and properties in Mountain Lake, a private residential community with a country club, world-class golf course, pool, fitness center, and dining facilities. I have successfully refined operations and enhanced staff training with a focus on ensuring positive interactions with residents, members, and guests. One of the aspects I love most about my job is building cohesive, high-performing security teams who are capable of making a difference in demanding, high-pressure environments. I am a decisive, well-organized leader with demonstrated ability to: • Recruit, interview, and conduct background checks on new hires and build a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. • Develop and deliver training programs on safety, security, and threat/incident response protocols. • Mentor security managers and coach security officers to achieve the highest level of productivity and performance, giving praise when merited and constructive critique when necessary. • Oversee scheduling of security desk officers and security desk operations including providing access control, monitoring of premises using CCTV surveillance systems, maintaining activity logs each shift, and monitoring of fire systems and duress alarms as well as weather and public safety alerts. As a former Captain of the Polk County Sheriff’s Department, I offer 25+ years of law enforcement and security operations management. I serve as the official liaison with local emergency management services, including first-responders and law enforcement agencies.
