As part of the Health team for PCG I will be assisting PCG enhance their fire and EMS consulting services as well as marketing their current GEMT and ambulance supplemental payment services to eligible ambulance providers. Focusing on assisting others with an interest in US fire service issues and fire-based EMS issues both on a pro bono basis and a fee for service basis. Most problems or issues can be resolved by a 15 minute phone call with someone that can provide advice or direction. If I can't help, I probably know someone who can help. Entrepreneurs, small or large companies, fire personnel at any rank, or anyone else that needs help, again for no fee. This is my way of giving back to the fire and EMS services and being grateful for the experiences and knowledge I have learned/obtained from those smarter than me. Currently serving as the Executive Director for the Nevada Fire Chiefs Association and as a Senior Fire/EMS Advisor for PCG. Previously active as a fire/EMS Consultant for a few select fire/EMS consulting companies. Over 20 years experience as an fire/EMS consultant. Retired from Las Vegas Fire & Rescue as a Deputy Fire Chief after 28 years of service. Executive level leader for 13 years, serving in every Division of the Department, including emergency operations, administration, fire prevention, and medical services. Initiated several programs that are still in place today, including a fire-based ambulance transport program and an in-house medical examination program for firefighters. The experience, knowledge, and expertise gained from Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, as well as the number and variety of fire/EMS consulting projects I have completed, makes me uniquely qualified for a broad range of public safety consulting projects.
