About Ken Schroth

I have been in construction since 1972. I have held an Oregon State Building Inspectors license, owned my own company, framed custom homes for many years, and framed production homes. In 1988 I had back surgery and went into Estimating for track homes for Pratte Development. After approximately 10 years I moved into Custom Home Estimating, Purchasing and Project Management working for SRJ Homes in Payson Arizona while building at the exclusive Rim Club, Chaparral Pines and the Knolls. After moving back down to the Phoenix Metro Area I managed the purchasing for Montalbano Homes and Greystone / Lennar for approximately 6 years. I am now back in my element at Schultz Development doing Estimating, budget analysis and Purchasing for custom homes in the 4 - 20 million dollar range. Specialties: Finding the vendors at the best possible value. I long ago learned that often, the cheapest bid is not the least expensive vendor in the long run. And through interviews and due diligence I have a knack for ferreting out those that can perform at the best price for the quality that the custom home field demands.
