About Ken Seakins

I’m a Studio and Project Leader with more than 30 years of experience delivering award-winning architectural projects across Victoria. I’ve led complex civic, education, aged care, and community projects from concept to completion—bringing calm, steady leadership, deep technical knowledge, and a practical, buildable design approach. What I’m most proud of, though, isn’t just the buildings. It’s the people. Throughout my career, I’ve mentored countless graduates, emerging architects, and project leads—many of whom have gone on to become directors of their own firms, senior public servants, and leaders in their field. I believe mentoring is one of the most valuable contributions a senior architect can make to the profession. I’ve also championed systems that support high-quality delivery—introducing design review processes, improving resource planning, and fostering collaborative studio cultures where people grow and projects succeed. If there's a thread that runs through it all, it's this: good architecture is built on great relationships. And great leadership is built on lifting others up.
