Back to the US. Living in New York. Work in Beijing China for the last 12 years in a joint venture program between AIG and People Insurance Company of China (PICC). Worked in NY area insurance and healthcare companies for 15 years before joining AIG P&C for 10 years. Came to China in 2006. Being bilingual, bi-cultural and access to PICC and AIG’s senior managers gave a great opportunity to view corporate world from both side. I am able to compare and see the contrast of US and China’s corporate behaviors and understand the origins of their concerns and ambition. I am able to negotiate and lead several profitable projects in the midst of China fatigue from the western companies. I believe my ability to live in both worlds is the origin of the success.
