About Ken Tomlinson

IT engineering manager experienced in delivering new projects, customer support and managing multi-cultural teams as part of global organizations. I enjoy leading teams to excellence, communication and negotiation with stakeholders, and delivering value to organizations with controlled costs. I have an engineering degree and a master's degree in management of information systems and organizations and have kept abreast of new technologies such as agile development (agile planning, POCs and MVPs) and tools (Git, Atlassian tool chain, etc.). For over ten years, I have been an active member of my professional association Project Management Institute, serving multiple roles (sub-branch chairman, secretary, treasurer, president) in my local chapter PMI France, and later as a global volunteer acting as a mentor for chapters in Southern Europe. An open mind and a drive to understand then improve business operations are recurring themes in my career. Specialties: Team management, project planning and management, product and service management, support operations, and general business operations. Familiarity with budget management, IT and corporate governance, IT and cybersecurity, end user communication, large-scale IT deployments, datacenters, decision making and risk management. Some experience with start-ups, especially commercial prospecting and marketing. One of my extra-professional activities has been community service through my activities in Rotary, where I have held various roles such as club youth officer, secretary, foundation liaison, and president.
