About Kena Patel

I am a physiotherapy graduate from India. Served as a physiotherapist in K.M. Patel institute of physiotherapy for 6 months. Have also volunteered in many blood donation camps organised by Red Cross, India. I have one year of hands on patient experience along with being an important part of ergonomics team in one of the government hospitals of India, where I worked on my weekends, to improvise posture of the hospitalised patients. I am a very hard working woman, with keen observatory skills. I constantly work on increasing my field knowledge as well as other supportive skills. currently i am a student of occupational health and safety management in Lambton College, Toronto. I don’t have experience in the field at the moment, but I have in depth knowledge of various aspect of field like, JSA, implementation and evaluation of health and safety programs, wellness programs, and/or events and initiatives, root cause analyses, physical demands analyses, workplace ergonomic assessments, as well as about, all the federal and provincial acts such as, Workplace Safety Insurance Act (WSIA), Occupational Health and Safety Act and Human Rights, Employment Standards Act. I am Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word. I desire to be part of a well-known health care facility in order to implement my learned skills.
