About Kenan McWilliams

Kenan McWilliams wants to make his dreams come true and help people who listen to his music do the same. Through his blend of R&B and pop, he offers inspiration, confessionals, and some straight up bops. Growing up in the church gave Kenan his first taste of music, and those gospel roots still exist for him, along with his influences of Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson. Kenan Performs under the stage name "Zeke Forever". Zeke derived his name from his childhood imaginary friend. He brings that same imagination and wonder to his music since the release of his first body of work, Yin, in 2015. He followed that project up with his 2019 album, Dear Golden Boy, which featured autobiographical tunes like “Golden”, “Dear Golden Boy” and “Don’t Worry ‘Bout Me.” He calls Dear Golden Boy a revival; through that album he chronicles the loss of a friendship, self-confidence and optimism for the future. Dear Golden Boy caught the eye of Spotify and landed on the official Spotify Aquarius playlist. Soon after he released a new album in 2021, Kryptonite. Kryptonite continues his run of songs that tell the story of the ups and downs of growing into your own, served with a side of Black Boy Joy. All of the music has been written, produced, mixed and mastered by Kenan (who is self-taught) as well. Kenan McWilliams is a man with many hats as he is also a Graphic Designer and Video Editor. He has worked on his own projects as well as doing graphics for Local Artist and Businesses'(i.e. Ariel & The Culture, Electric Lounges, Justin Wes & Dominion Word). He is looking for more clients to expand his portfolio.
