About Kendal Lowrey

As a Public Health Demographer at Goldbelt Apex, I provide demographic data analysis for the Indian Health Services (IHS) to determine the health status of American Indians and Native Alaskans. These services are needed to calculate and report accurate mortality, natality, and related natality phenomena rates by age, sex, administration regions of IHS, and cause(s) of death for American Indians/Alaska Natives in the IHS service area. My work is motivated by my drive to decrease social and economic inequality and to provide accurate statistical and demographic data estimates. My diverse educational background includes sociology, public policy, and business administration, enabling me to approach problems from multiple perspectives and communicate with broad audiences. I have over eight years of experience in quantitative research and statistical analysis packages (Stata, SAS, and R), along with qualitative research methods skills via experiences such as focus groups, interviews, and surveys.
