About Kendall Brantley

I am currently a graduate student at the University of Georgia's Master of Public Administration program. Before beginning the program, I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia as well in International Affairs. I intend to use my knowledge and leadership skills in a work environment where I can grow and help others do the same. I appreciate opportunities that make me think critically, including group projects and studying case memos. I also engage in and regularly present my own research, supported by my school’s research department. I have 2 years of real-world work experience and 3 internships to look back on. I started at Chick-fil-A where I was a team member, tasked with helping customers anywhere from taking orders to cleaning tables when they finished. Working at Chick-fil-A taught me invaluable lessons, such as patience, customer care, and teamwork. I have also been involved in coaching children at the local YMCA. There I coached children from ages 5-14, assisting them with respectful play and social skills. I coached a soccer team there for a season, where I had to learn time management and strategic coaching placement of the kids on my team. During the summer before my senior year, I interned in the Trade Development Department at the Georgia Ports Authority. I now obtain a vast amount of knowledge about the logistics and supply chain entities. During the 2022 election cycle, I interned on Houston Gaines' State Representative campaign, where I canvassed the Athens area and spread the word about Houston Gaines and his policy work in the Georgia State House. I then went on to work at the Georgia Chamber of Commerce as the public policy intern, where I was involved in public policy tracking, data collection and analysis. Currently, I work with Archway Partnership at the university, where we connect communities with UGA's resources to address community-identified needs.
