I have been working as an RN in the Houston area since the end of 2019. Starting in the ER right before COVId hit I had to learn fast. 1 year into nursing I cross trained in the ICU. I have now been full time in the ICU Since March 2021 and absolutely love it. I love learning about the disease processes and continue to learn every shift. I work a lot with medical ICU patients. I have some experience with strokes and surgical ICU also. I am part of the weaning sedation and ventilators committee, trained in US guided IV catheters, impellers and intra aortic balloon pumps. I have my TNCC and PALS.
