As a Work Based Learning Coordinator at Gadsden Job Corps Center, I facilitate the placement and supervision of students in work-based learning opportunities that align with their career goals and interests. I collaborate with employers, instructors, and counselors to ensure that students gain relevant and valuable skills and experiences that prepare them for the workforce. I also monitor and evaluate the students' performance and progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed. In addition, I run my own tutoring business, Learning with K-Lyn, where I offer personalized and affordable tutoring services to students of various ages and levels in math, science, and engineering subjects. I leverage my pending Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, as well as my previous experience as a Career Preparation Specialist, to design and deliver effective and engaging lessons that help students improve their academic performance and confidence.
