About Kendall Needham

My name is Kendall Needham and I am a career-driven public health professional. I have a strong passion for public health as evidenced by my decision to major in Public Health during both my undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. I was accepted into the accelerated Public Health Master's degree program in 2021 and completed my master’s degree in May 2023. For the last year, I have been working with the Department of Natural Resources to deliver health messaging to the public and assess health risks across the state of Wisconsin. My graduate degree in Public Health is concentrated in Environmental Health Science however, my education has exposed me to the various disciplines of public health including, community and behavioral health, policy and administration, and epidemiology. I chose this degree as it offers flexibility as far as ways in which you can positively impact the health of a community. Therefore, I am interested in taking on various positions within the field. I have maintained a job with Woodman's Food Market for the last eight years which is a testament to my work ethic and commitment to any job I have. Based on this experience and experience in my other professional roles, I have developed strong interpersonal skills and the ability to problem-solve. Similarly, working whilst in school full time has shown me the importance of being organized, working effectively within time constraints, as well as being punctual.
