I am currently working full time as a residential designer at Tracy's Custom Homes. I have been employed for 2 years, and am proficient in using Chief Architect software. As a residential designer, I create full construction documents for custom homes. These documents include fully dimensioned floor plans, electrical plans, roof plans, dimensioned rough-in plans, and cabinet elevations. I enjoy working with customers to design the house of their dreams by going through the process of making revisions to their plans throughout the design process.I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and this has helped me with problem solving in the custom home design industry. When there are changes that need to be made to fit the customers wants and needs for a home I am able to come up with multiple different options for the customer to consider. I have used multiple CAD programs in the past and am currently using Chief Architect. Having a background using CAD programs helps me learn new software's faster because there are similarities between each one.I have many years of working in retail and in the food business. I am currently a receptionist/cashier at Chandler's Landing Marina where I answer phone calls and direct people to the correct office and give them information about the amenities we offer. I have worked at Famous Footwear as a sales associate helping customers find the right product for them, while also staying calm in stressful situations when customers are told they are unable to return their product. I also worked as a barista at Starbucks making coffee for customers to their liking, while also being respectful towards rude customers and try to fix mistakes that were made in the fasted and the most efficient way possible.
