Senior graphic designer and illustrator with a history of work in the marketing, legal, higher education, and publishing industries. Strong arts and design professional skilled in elements such as typography, layout, illustration, and motion design or animation. I'm an artist and designer proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) with the ability to craft illustrations and designs for a variety of clients, including #1 New York Times bestselling authors and institutions like the U.S. Geological Survey. My expertise also extends to web design, video post-production, and art direction. I have honed my skills in project management using software like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, Wrike, Trello, Basecamp, and Monday. My artistic ability has lent itself to illustrations, print and web publications, social media campaigns, and advertisements. I have experience in Figma, InVision, Canva, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In my freelance and career work, I have created designs and illustrations for a variety of clients. I even designed and illustrated a children's book. I am currently a Senior Graphic Designer at Morgan & Morgan in New York City. I design branding, OOH advertising, social media assets, print collateral, promotional materials, and merchandise. I research design trends and apply them to our marketing. I have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Northern Michigan University (B.A. with a Mathematics minor). While a student, I worked as a Design Research Fellow in the School of Art & Design; a Design & Marketing Assistant in Dining Services; a Design, Web, & Media Specialist at the Student Art Gallery; and a Graphic Designer at University Marketing & Communications. I designed for athletics, theatre, community events, recruitment, and the university alumni magazine. I am an artist and comedian in my free time! I've had my work in galleries, shows, exhibitions, and participated in an artist residency. I also designed the film poster for Salud (2022). I hosted my stand up comedy show, Clown Heights, twice a month in Brooklyn. I write sketches and jokes and do improv. I also like meeting new people and new opportunities.
