My career has been in the specialty chemical manufacturing sector providing inventory and cost accounting leadership to Fortune 500 Companies. Beginning my career with Welchem, a subsidiary of Amoco Chemical, I have been engaged in the global implementation of various manufacturing and cost control systems and provided systems training and integration support as Welchem and Petrolite merged, became Baker Petrolite and finally rolled into Baker Hughes chemicals and fluids division. Significant highlights of my career: Leadership of accounting and financial reporting for 300+ chemicals and fluids distribution facilities with inventories of $1.3 billion. Implementation of material ledger structure, Periodic Unit Pricing (PUP) and Intercompany Accounts Receivable module (ICAR) in SAP. Deployment of PRISM across facilities in the UK, Australia, Spain, Argentina, Venezuela, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Africa, Denmark, Scotland, Aruba, Newfoundland, Ireland and Norway. Leadership of all physical inventory audits for plant and distribution locations in the US and Canada. Rollout of accounts receivable, sales and cost modules to support implementation of CIMPRO, a manufacturing system. Execution of HFM, a new financial system and its user training facilitation.
