About Kendra Dosch

I have worked in two different areas of the retail industry. The first job I worked at was a movie theater. There I learned to multitask, handle money, and give great customer service. I also learned how to be in charge of certain sections and handle food. My second job was at Target. There I worked in softlines where I learned to answer the phone, take messages, and deal with the end to end process of the clothing department. I also furthered my skills in multitasking, money handling, and customer service. I worked at my first job for one year and I worked at Target for almost five years. I am getting my bachelors degree in history and will be graduating in May of 2019. With this degree, I have learned how to communicate through various means, research for varying topics, and developed strong analytical skills. During my last semester, I have also taken on an internship through the college. This internship has put me in the mayor's office in Anchorage where I have been researching the history between Anchorage and its two sister cities. Through this job I have put the skills that I have learned through obtaining my degree and applied it to the real world. I have also furthered my interpersonal skills through meetings, phone calls, and interviews.
