About Kendra Kinney

I am a senior industrial engineer and project management professional with experience leading cross-functional process improvement, continuous improvement, and strategic projects. I have a passion for improving processes and workflows by turning ideas into actions and driving change. With my strong organizational and facilitation skills, I excel at leading and managing project stakeholders, team members, and individual contributors to achieve project expectations and goals.I strive to be a life long learner and continue to develop my professional skill set. I earned my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2023 and have my Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB) certifications. I am also an Iowa State University Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) mentor, where I support and mentor women pursuing careers in engineering and STEM-related fields.Outside of work, I am a wife and a mom to my son, dogs, and cat. We relocated to the Des Moines metro in the fall of 2023 to be closer to family. I enjoy golfing and traveling, especially going on cruises. I also train dogs and compete with my own dogs in a fast and fun sport called flyball.
