I am a global operations leader in the medical technology industry, with experience spanning manufacturing, supply chain, corporate strategy, and international business. Currently, I lead global operations for a multi-billion-dollar business, overseeing production, procurement, and logistics across multiple regions. My focus is on ensuring stable supply, strengthening manufacturing competitiveness, and driving continuous improvement in complex and highly regulated environments. Over the course of my career, I have worked across commercial, international, and strategic roles, which allows me to connect business priorities with execution on the ground. I have led initiatives ranging from market expansion in China to corporate strategy development and, more recently, global manufacturing and supply chain transformation. Over many years, I have studied the sources of Japan’s manufacturing competitiveness (Monozukuri) and continue to explore how those strengths can be applied to identify the optimal solutions in global business environments. I am particularly interested in how global operations can evolve through digital transformation, automation, and more data-driven decision-making. I also see increasing potential for AI to enhance productivity, resilience, and responsiveness across the supply chain. What motivates me most is working in environments where strategy and execution must come together, especially across global and cross-functional teams. I believe that sustainable operational excellence is built not only through systems and processes, but through people.
