About Kennedi Risi

I’m a Vancouver Film School alum with a big love for storytelling, creative collaboration, and all things animation. When I was at VFS, I had the chance to direct, write, and animate my first short film, Show and Tell, an experience that really sparked my passion for storytelling and creative collaboration! Since then, I’ve blended creative work with operations, helping teams bring ideas to life. I returned to VFS as a teaching assistant (and discovered I love mentoring), and most recently joined the team at Guru Studio in Toronto, where I work as Executive Assistant to the President, Frank Falcone. It’s an exciting opportunity to support visionary leadership at one of Canada’s top animation studios. Before that, I helped lead creative operations at ProRigs, working alongside animation greats like Pixar's Michal Makarewicz and supporting an incredibly talented global team.
