I am an astute marketer with solid experience across brand Marketing, commercialization and sales.I joined KBL in 2013 where I started off as a marketing intern and played a key role supporting the execution of Tusker Project Fame and Tusker Masaku 7’s. I later moved up the rank and joined the sales team as a territory manager and managed to grow distributor NSV by 142% through brilliant execution of trade activities and 100% distribution of innovations.In 2016, I took up the Guinness and Pilsner assistant brand manager position and got the opportunity to roll out the first pilsner National Consumer promotion and development of Guinness football led experiential growth driver “Guinness Viewing Centre’s”.I later moved on as Guinness shopper manager owning end to end execution of Guinness brand strategy, working with global brand teams to deliver global campaigns on Guinness, Such as Meet Thierry Henry, Africa Cup of Nations Consumer Promotion amongst others. In 2017 I was awarded Diageo Moment of choice award for best campaign execution globally- the 1st one in Africa for my exemplary work executing various consumer promotions.Marketing and sales. I recently led the team in the launch of one of the best thematic campaign for Tusker Lager, dubbed Kenya Milele, which is set to usher in the commemoration of Tusker 100 years birthday. In my previous role,I managed to turn around Tusker Lager’s equity performance for the first time in the last 3 years; Through my effective leadership, dependence on insights & their implications, strong commercial acumen.I am passionate about positively influencing and shaping a great future for the next generation of marketing professionals.
