About Kennedy Porter

During my time at Ohio State University, I studied the fields of Public Relations and Communications, where I not only gained knowledge of effective communication strategies but also discovered my passion for writing. As I progressed academically, I found myself drawn to the challenges presented by Criminology and Criminal Justice. I was eager to understand the underlying issues affecting our society and research solutions. Engaging in exciting classes within the field of Criminology sparked my curiosity further. Currently I am the Public Information Officer for Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board, where I assist in communications regarding the management and maintenance of the Ohio Statehouse including social media, press releases, advisories and media/public relations.
