About Kenneth Abrahams

I am a Bid and Proposals professional with a background in National Sales and Key Account Management. I am an accredited Practitioner level certified member of APMP with over 21 years of experience within the medical devices industry in South Africa, Middle East and Europe. I am skilled in setting up a bid and proposals function including SOP's and tools, and producing informed, compliant, responsive and persuasive bids to the high standard required in the medical devices markets. I completed a Program in Management Development (PMD) through the University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science after an initial qualification in Purchasing Management and Computer skills. I also completed several in-house courses ranging from Six Sigma to Leadership during a career span of 21+ years at international companies supplying to the Healthcare industry in South Africa. My strengths lie in my strong understanding of business management, inter-disciplinary knowledge, digital communication skills, industry and markets (Key Accounts), and an ability to recognise challenges, opportunities and problems, and developing and implementing corrective strategies.
