A fixed income market analyst with twelve years of experience across all aspects of Australian and New Zealand cash and interest rate derivative markets. My key strengths are fixed income trading strategy and relative value analysis, macroeconomic strategy and trade ideas, as well as written and verbal communication of research themes – taking an idea from analysis, to publishing and then marketing. I have worked closely with trading and origination teams as well as senior management to provide quantitative support, bespoke analysis and marketing material for capital markets deals. My specialist areas of coverage include the inflation linked bond market, cross currency basis and related derivatives, State government bonds and supranational/sovereign/agency bond markets. I have used programming skills to enhance, automate and streamline data management and business processes – oftentimes, unlocking value in existing data that was otherwise not being used. A committed team player and also self-motivated, looking for opportunities to contribute outside my core role, including joining charitable initiatives or supporting internship programs.
