What I achieved in nearly 20-years as an educator: → Led a predominantly First Nations regional school to achieve NAPLAN results well above similar schools across all domains as Deputy Principal → Helped a multicultural metro school achieve NAPLAN results well above similar schools as a teacher → Created statewide professional learning for Education NSW, earning 4.5/5 ratings → Led a $250K numeracy data deep dive in the Victorian Department of Education, informing state policy Why I shifted to analytics: Schools are awash with data—but often lack the time, tools, and technical know-how to use it meaningfully. Most data analysts don’t understand schools. Most educators lack technical training. I’ve worked in both worlds—and I bridge the gap. In 2023, I completed advanced data analytics training at the University of Melbourne (top results in stats and coding), and I’ve since applied those skills in industry (Ventora Building Materials) and education (Victorian Department of Education and Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools).
