About Kenneth Porter
As a graduate of a Masters of Science in Geography with a specialization in urban climatology, I have always been passionate about weather and climate. In the fall of 2009, I successfully defended my dissertation titled “Multiscale Assessment of Urban Emissivity” which examined the spatial variations and climatological impacts of emissivity in the urban environment. The key deliverables of this thesis have been incorporated into multiple conference presentations. In 2011, I started working at the Climate Action Secretariat where I continually work on bridging the gap between science and policy to aide decision makers in making sound decisions.
