About Kenneth Rose

Sometimes it seems I never take the easy path. I earned a degree in mechanical engineering, worked hard to become a production manager at an awesome company, then made the extremely difficult choice to change careers and become a teacher. After the first week of teaching, I couldn't help but think I had made a terrible mistake. I am now in my 4th year of teaching and I love it! I am awestruck by the responsibility I am granted by students, parents and society to help young adults achieve their goals. I also consider myself a wilderness explorer because I refuse to take the easy path. I am on a lifelong mission to explore as many wilderness areas in New Mexico as possible. I suppose I am just attracted to challenge and nature offers an endless amount of beauty, solace, and challenge. My dream is to someday combine my passion for teaching young adults with my passion for nature. I am currently working on a curriculum that would teach math, science and fly fishing. Please ask me for more information!
