The facility was tasked with reducing cost by $1 million dollars. As a result of successful negotiations with two different waste vendors, was able to reduce the company waste cost by • Competently managed a capital project to upgrade the facility security/badge access system. The project was completed on time and 10% under budget. Successfully negotiated away a questionable change order from the contractor which would have put the project over budget by 10% • Created a database for the company’s management and oversight of chemicals. This achievement eliminated a technology company’s oversight and monitoring of Safety data sheets and data access. As a result of the new database, within a six month period the company was able to maintain oversight for over 600 chemicals.
