About Kenny Corbin

I grew up in a very loving family where my dad and mom both worked and sacrificed for my sister and me. I played multiple sports and that probably is why I am so competitive in life. I love to compete on a team and in some situations individually. Late in my childhood I fell in love with golf and had the opportunity to play college golf. I had aspirations to play on tour but my journey took a turn and here I am in Human Resources since 1998. I enjoy how we can make an impact on each employee’s career journey. In the higher education industry, we collaborate and share ideas with each other to enhance the experience. My challenge to my team has always been, “Reach for the stars because you never know how far you will go.” That has been a core focus for me as we operated around continuous improvement strategies. I love to volunteer and give back to my local community along with this great professional of Human Resources. The joy of seeing the smiles on individuals that have crossed paths inspire me to do more. One of the values within my current HR department is “Leave it better than you found it.” This is a value that I carry with me in my personal life in everything I do.
