My primary background has been spent in Plumbing/Wet Mechanical commercial construction for over the last 25 years. During the course of my career I have gained a good understanding of the overall general construction process and understanding of the related building/life safety code standards (IBC, Uniform Plumbing/Mechanical Codes, NFPA, IPC, IMC, IGC). I currently hold a NM Journeyman Plumbing, Natural Gas and Pipe fitters License, a NM Mechanical Contractors License, a Texas Master Plumbing License (with a Master Medical Gas endorsement), a Colorado Master Plumber License and a Nevada Plumbing/Heating Contractors License. In addition to my trades licenses, I also furthered my education by graduating with an associates degree (with highest honors) in construction management. I am currently the Plumbing and Gas Fitter instructor at CNM. All skilled trades have been on the back burner for too long. It's my goal to show that a skilled trade not only provides employment but also a good foundation as people further their education.
