About Kenny Saez

As a graduate from The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal, Law, and Justice and a deep hunger to make a difference in communities and motivate others with the courage to be the positive change themselves. I would thrive at a job that will expand my knowledge and feed my need to be part of a productive team with many talents working towards a main goal. Majority my prior work experience has been mainly from the restaurant business where I learned fast and was always promoted faster than expected. Always the most reliable worker and one of the hardest workers at hand. I hold myself and my team to high standards with leading and motivation through unity and understanding. I worked loss prevention which taught me merchandising and an introduction to security. Lasty, my current job as a security guard for the University of Illinois has been a year of learning about the department and has encouraged me to pursue similar career options. My minor in gendered and woman studies has assisted in understanding the perspective of many individuals with vastly different back rounds not only from my own but to assist in being able to understand each person as an individual and create a safe space. The skills I have acquired of leadership, physical and mental strength, and the motivation for positive change sparked my major interest in criminal, law, and justice. The curiosity only expands as I gained more knowledge. I am detail oriented, a fast learner, and high spirited. A very optimistic individual whose motivation and work ethic is infection. I work very well in a team, but can also manage things alone. I have gained great social and communication skills as problem solving and understanding come naturally to me. I have always been eager to learn more and have always been asked to hold higher positions, but gain a sense of self-worth through starting at entry level and building my own work credit especially when surrounded by a new team to gain the natural sense of unity through grit and hard work. Expanding my own knowledge while spreading my teachings of hard work and the mind being malleable is the high spirit energy that sparks a flame in any individual or team. I would enjoy to expand on my interest, discuss qualifications, and elaborate on personal experiences that assist in making this role a perfect mold to place myself in.
