Prior to that, he was a Partner at Scrum Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco & Tokyo that has invested in over 100 startups in a wide range of industries. He was the head of Japan investment team and made investments in 15+ companies, out of which 2 companies exited (Photosynth TYO: 4379 and Fast Accounting TYO: 5588). He started his career as a management consultant at Strategy & (formerly known as Booz & Company), the global strategy consulting firm in the PwC Group.
