About Kent Becker

I am a thirty year veteran of the printing industry. In those thirty years I have gained extensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of printing and graphics. Stemming from the days of lithography and paste-ups to the now diverse current world of digital printing, I have had the opportunity to gain experience and foresight in just about every aspect of graphics and printing. In an effort to broaden myself and keep up with the demands of a world moving from the printed page to an all electronic medium, I have continued to seek out additional education and experience to further expand myself both personally and professionally. As a result I am making a continuous effort to learn web and other forms of computer programming, either in the classroom or on my own, all in an effort to meet the demands of a quickly evolving digital world. I have an exceptional eye for detail, and a thorough knowledge of printing and the web. The end result is the production of electronic files that are clean, organized, are easy to understand and work with and are print and/or web ready. In addition, I have achieved an Associate’s Degree in graphic design and I am a naturally gifted artist and designer with a keen understanding of balance, color and symmetry. My hope for being on Linkedin is to eventually gain additional contacts and well as additional work. I am well versed in prepress, layouts, graphic design, production art, and web content. I am extremely confident that my work will save my client time and money as well as saving time and money for their clients. I am currently employed, but am open to new challenges as well as new opportunities to meet and gain the respect of clients and associates in the print and graphics community, be it in a permanent or freelance capacity.
