About Kent Hsu

More than 15 years of experience in electric vehicle related product design, incl. powertrain system (500W/7kW/35kW/150kW), EV charging equipment (DC360kW / AC22kW) and On board charger integrated with the power distribution unit(AC charging 11kW/400V & DC charging over 200kW). I have strong innovative design ideas and excellent mass production design capabilities, and currently granted 10 US patents. Since October 2022, I joined a team to develop power electronic products for vehicles. Currently, we are working on integrating a 22kW OBC with the 200kW PDU of the project. At Phihong, I responsible the mechanical design of the EV charger, power range is from 3kW portable charger to 360kW DC fast charging station. At Foxconn, we define and execute the electric vehicle key/core components plan, gain the budget of USD 10 million, include the product spec./schedule definition, build up the RD team and laboratories and develop the advanced manufacturing processing. At ASUS, I am responsible for robotic (Zenbo) joints motor modules, including motors and sensor. Defined the motor spec, established the supplier and completed the mass production.
