About Kent Klingbeil

I’ve worked in the Ag Retail and precision ag space for 17+ years. My passion for agriculture roots back to my family's farming operation and I truly enjoy working with all the great people that dedicate their lives to feeding the growing world. Early in my career, I had the pleasure of working directly with farmers, building crop plans, and improving their ROI per acre through precision and proper seed placement. I worked heavily in the precision ag and data space for Landus as I led their precision team and helped develop a new marketing brand. As a regional sales manager, I led a team of sales agronomists where we achieved positive sales growth while the industry was struggling. I was the Landus representative on the ACWA board-Agriculture’s Clean Water Alliance where I was able to build on my passion for sustainability and conservation as we trained and educated future farmers and agronomists. Recently I have shifted my career back towards my passion for precision ag, agronomy, and truly making a difference in agriculture. I'm truly fortunate and excited to join the Advanced Agrilytics team and look forward to what the future holds! Living in central Iowa has allowed my wife and me to spend time on both of our families farming operations and attend as many ISU activities as we can! I enjoy spending time on our acreage in central Iowa, attempting sheep production, staying active, and flying drones as time allows!@Klingbeil_ISU
