Hi, I'm Kent! I am a Computer Science/Mathematics graduate with a passion for Data Science. I am very familiar with Microsoft Suite tools (Power BI, Power Automate) and am also well-versed in Pythonic machine learning libraries and associated numerical libraries (sklearn, pytorch, scipy, pandas, etc). From my previous experiences, I have developed experience with data warehousing (Microsoft Fabric), and cloud computing for heavy workloads and process optimization (Microsoft Azure, AWS Redshift, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, AWS RDS). By applying my mathematical foundation from school and the technical skills I picked up via on-the-job experience and self-guided learning, I excel at creating data-backed insights and suggestions, and at eloquating stories behind data for stakeholders. I am currently working in my role as a Junior Marketing Analyst at Vallourec USA Corp, where I leverage much of my skill in ingesting data and using them to enhance business strategy and capabilities. Outside of school and work, I love to play online chess and find good food to eat with friends and family. I am currently applying and looking for positions with opportunities that will allow me to make efforts towards real dollar improvements via pricing and customer optimization.
