About Kent Reeves

I have 42 years of experience in the offshore oil field industry. I started my career as a commercial diver for 12 years and worked in the Gulf of Mexico 2 years and Southeast Asia for 10 years. Returned to the Gulf and worked another 12 years doing topside and underwater inspections and data recording. In 2001 became a client rep and have worked for numerous major oil company’s including Dominion, Fina Oil, Hess, Devon Energy, Pioneer, BP, NGC Trinidad, Noble Energy Israel, Tullow Oil Ghana Africa, Murphy Oil, Anadarko, Energy XXI, W&T Offshore, Tana Exploration, Renaissance Offshore and Castex Energy. My background work includes deep water intervention using ROV’s installing well heads, manifolds, pipelines, flying leads, jumpers, umbilical’s, risers and commissioning of said assets. During my years of diving I was a dive supervisor on the Prebumi I derrick lay barge in Indonesia for 5 years setting platforms, laying pipelines, setting risers and installing spool pieces. I have also been a client rep on several pipeline projects. I spent 5 years working for Devon Energy doing Level 2, 3 and 4 U/W platform inspections and salvage recovery using Sat divers after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. In the past 9 years I have worked projects in Trinidad, Israel and Ghana Africa and willing to continue traveling overseas. In the past 3 years I have performed platform inspections, anode retrofit projects, platform and pipeline decommissioning, removal and site clearance trawling operations.
