Background

About Kenyata Clark

I am an aspiring proposal/grant writer with a strong foundation in technical writing, editing, and document management. I am currently a Senior at George Mason University majoring in English with a concentration in writing and rhetoric. My areas of concentration are technical writing, document design, and streamlined template creation. I excel in proofreading, editing, managing deadlines, and tailoring materials for all audiences. I have experience shredding RFPs, creating funding pipelines, writing proposals, and managing color team reviews. My background as a site-based substitute teacher strengthened my adaptability and content evaluation skills. In my role as a Veteran Services Administrator, I guaranteed accuracy in sensitive documentation, ensured records compliance, and communicated effectively in a hybrid work environment. I’m driven to contribute to growth-oriented teams in both the federal and nonprofit sectors, where I can apply my skills to deliver clear, compelling, and compliant proposals.
