About Keri Draganic

I am an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) who is passionate about advancing the practice and education of nursing in the areas of acute and critical care medicine. I currently serve as the Director of the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) Program at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), where I oversee the curriculum, accreditation, faculty, and students of the program. In addition to my leadership role at UTA, I also maintain my bedside clinical practice as an ACNP at the UT Southwestern Medical Center's Clement University Hospital in Dallas, Texas with Cardiothoracic Surgery and Pulmonary/Critical Care. There, I work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with complex and acute conditions. I also contribute to the research and scholarship of nursing by conducting and disseminating studies on topics such as sepsis identification, nursing well-being, and healthcare policy. As a board-certified ACNP, Certified Nurse Educator (CNE), and Adult CCRN, I have the knowledge, skills, and credentials to prepare the next generation of AGACNPs and to advance the nursing profession.
