About Keri New

I’m a local government planning and infrastructure specialist with a career focus on navigating government policy, political trends and complex stakeholder relationships. This I balance with my personal values of fairness, social equity and environmental sustainability. My experience in one of Australia’s fastest growing regions has allowed me to take leadership and provide oversight of a multiplicity of complex strategic and operational Council functions. I’m committed to delivering great outcomes for the community. I love a challenge and have sought to positively contribute to many significant urban development precincts. I’m a people leader who brings a coaching approach to staff development and leadership. I thrive in leading high performing diverse multi-disciplinary teams across infrastructure strategy and planning (all asset classes), corporate, capital works and service planning, strategic asset management, strategic and statutory planning, land development, sustainability, environment, and community engagement.
