About Kerman Pillay
From an early age, I enjoyed tinkering with all types of things I could find as a kid, and this passion for fixing stuff translated into a solution finder mindset, as I got older. Growing up in the late 90s and early 00s I was then introduced to computers and took to it and all things Tech like a 'duck to water. This passion coupled with my solution mindset continued to develop and help me obtain a B.SC Computer Science degree from Heriot-Watt University. I began my career working in an IT support role, learning a lot about people and computers. This helped me a lot and taught me the value of a patient and honest approach to problem-solving. I have currently decided to pivot from IT support and try forging a new role for myself with the DevOps world, where I still make use of all of my experience and skills and try to use them to help me with automation and other DevOps best practices
